Dear 7D,
Hope you all enjoyed the cupcakes and cookies =) decided that since I have lotsa time on my hands nowadays I should do something to show u all some support in your quest to pia for promos =) I'm sure u'll all do finee =) that's why we're 7D!!
Thanks so much for being such a great class =) I'm really glad to be with u all... am kinda sad that i've to be away from school for so long, but i sure am looking forward to coming back! =) though i have a lot of work to catch up on before that... thank you all for always being so welcoming on the days when i do come to school.. those days really keep me going =)

The Story (Part II)

Sleepwalking sleighs plow the prairie slaughtering slow, sticky slugs seperately synthesising sweet savory sanguine snacks and smelling unknown substances like stuff smelled during chem lect and stuff smelled during celebrations which smelled similar to perfume, the kind especially well-liked by people who often like to eat, sleep, defecate and fartulate 24 hours a day, 7 times a second, never stopping except to do backflips and frontcrawl, sometimes making full use...

Of paradoxes, playing cards, and pink kangaroos.
Been a long while since I've posted any filler, and since I'm bored out of my mind, don't want to touch maths or chem, and basically have nothing better to do, say hello to filler #3
Writing fillers based on nothing does have its limits as I expect it would eventually become repititive and boring, and therefore this filler will have some form of nonsensical content, in which I will be contrasting and drawing a link between paradoxes, playing cards, and pink kangaroos, random words which I just thought of. If you were putting off anything important, now is a good time to do it, before you start reading this and waste 5 minutes of your life on my random ramblings <-- *gasp* alliteration! Which just gave me a thought, attempting to write long sentences of alliterations. If I can think of anything. So anyway, on to my main substantive - What exactly do paradoxes, playing cards, and pink kangaroos have in common? Firstly, they all start with the letter 'p', which is extremely coincidental and amazing. FYI, there are 26 letters in the alphabet, so therefore the chances of all three words starting with the same letters is equivalent to 1/26^3, or 1/17576, which has a smaller chance of happening then drowing in your bathtub (1/11289 IIRC). A quick google also shows its got rather similar chances to 'death by Exposure to animate mechanical forces', (1/17549). So be careful when you shower today, and don't drown while attempting to wash your hair, or getting strangled by the showerhead somehow.
So anyway, this shows that starting with the same letter isn't all that trivial a similarity, and is occurs rather rarely. Really. Regarding realistic remaining resemblences, <-- (woo, long alliteration), they all are linked to 42. First, playing cards. If you play bridge, the average number of points in a game is approximately 42, because 40 from point cards, and 2 from long suits. Therefore we can see that playing cards are so clearly linked to the answer. In fact, since the answer is 'the Answer', we should all spend more time playing cards instead of studying, I mean, what's the point of learning stuff which is ultimately irrelevant when you could be playing a game to learn more about THE ANSWER! Is not the ultimate aim of education and humanity to find the answer about the universe, life, and everything? And the answer's sitting right in front of it, it's just that the teachers are just too shortsighted to realise that playing bridge should be encouraged. The bridge game was invented by humans, an idea which was realised by our subconscious innate desire which manifested itself into the answer in the form of points! Therefore, bridge is the ultimate game which can solve all our problems. But I digress. So now we see clearly and undeniably that bridge is definitely linked to 42. So what about paradoxes? Well, it's fairly obvious. When you have a paradox, you must look for the right answer. The answer is often complex and difficult to grasp, which therefore means that it is elusive. Which therefore means it must be 42, because 42 is the answer to everything, so when you have a question it must be 42. So paradoxes are basically attempts to find the question to the answer, like those weird thingies you do in primary school where you're given an answer and you must come up with a question. So paradoxes are intrinsically linked to 42 as well, which proves undeniably that paradoxes are extremely similar to playing cards. So finally we have to look at pink kangaroos. Well, the answer is rather obvious. How many pink kangaroos do you know that exist? 42. You know, that one, that one, and those other 40. Or if you count in another way, it's that, that, that, and the other 39. No matter how hard you try to look at it, it always comes back to 42 (Disclaimer, if you do not have enough general knowledge to know of 42 pink kangaroos, you need to read more.) Finally, the final similarity which is glaringly obvious between all of them. Well, it's so obvious you probably don't really need me to tell you what it is. I mean, the moment you see these 3 words (okay, so it's not 3 words.. 3 phrases. Sue me.), you'll think of this similarity. Well, maybe you can't count it as a similarity since it's so obvious, but still, I'll just list it here for the heck of it. Just for the few of you which might not have figured it out. Ninjas. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. 'Obviously they're all related to ninjas =.=;;', but this wouldn't be complete without listing ninjas, so yeah. The Story (Part I)
And the tale thus far.
It was a late night. Day was coming, but not the martians, because they were waiting for the sun to sleep before they dare appear. The old brown fox jumped for joy when he heard two germans talking about how goalkeepers and salads differ. French toast and syrup taste like rock and mud. Cool people roast salkins tenderly for breakfast! Firetoads prance around kaihui; icicles fell from the big blue duck with juicy tender drumsticks that taste like radioactive pink (like) the bee who ate them. Thus the bee chased Jane and settled on her hairband and wai lumn can't count, so she closed her eyes and started counting to five, slowly and deliberately, waiting for enlightenment by the great FSM but tomato sacrifices lacked. Thus pirates reigned supreme, along with the magical compass belonging to my dog your god, ruler protractor, sets square and GC. His heart thumped in darkness but stopped in the morning ...

Ice Cool
Hey everyone! Realised I haven't been contributing actively to the class blog, so let me dedicate my 2nd/3rd post ever on this blog to telling you guys about the Taiwanese guy whos on the immersion programme with me.
He has a really cool name: Ice. One of the first things I said to him was that "oh,你的名子超酷。我朋友也都这样认为。”Hahaha... actually the thing is that "Ice" was his own name. Apparently they had to come up with their own English names for this programme and he decided to call himself "Ice". Other exotic-sounding names in this programme include: Kendall (think Candle) and Only (你就是我的“唯一”).
Today was a really exciting day for me... remember I came to school for LEAPS... but I couldn't concentrate throughout as my mind kept drifting to what would happen in the afternoon when I see him... what would he be like? would our personalities clash? would he be too extroverted for me? or too introverted for me? what should i say to him? where should i bring him? what food does he like?
Oh and the ceremony where we met each other and exchanged gifts was damn nerve-wrecking... its like they call "no. 20 永春高中的甘家豪" and "华侨初级学院的罗凯恒".. and we went on stage to shake hands, hug and exchange presents (in that order), before going down to talk and have tea reception. Oh and the thing was, before the ceremony, the taiwanese were seated at one end of the audi and the Singaporeans were seated at the other end. then someone found out that it was arranged accordingly. ie. if i sit on the 1st row 3rd seat, my buddy would sit on the 1st row 3rd seat on his side as well. So we were all eagerly scanning the audi trying to see who our buddies would be. Then some people waved and etc. Although I knew who he was already I was still damn excited... the same thing happened to a lot of people as well, so there were lots of screw-ups when we went on stage (eg. some forgot to exchange presents, some forgot to bow, some went down the wrong way and so on).
okay i think i'll stop here. going to lau pa sat at 830 tonight to have supper with the rest of the people in this programme. Oh and after that I'm going to bring him to my st john friend's house to stay (my other friend is bringing his buddy too so it shouldnt be too 尴尬吧。。。"
cyA! he'll probably be attending his first lesson on tuesday with us.
And I'll be missing lessons all the way till noon on Monday...

He has a really cool name: Ice. One of the first things I said to him was that "oh,你的名子超酷。我朋友也都这样认为。”Hahaha... actually the thing is that "Ice" was his own name. Apparently they had to come up with their own English names for this programme and he decided to call himself "Ice". Other exotic-sounding names in this programme include: Kendall (think Candle) and Only (你就是我的“唯一”).
Today was a really exciting day for me... remember I came to school for LEAPS... but I couldn't concentrate throughout as my mind kept drifting to what would happen in the afternoon when I see him... what would he be like? would our personalities clash? would he be too extroverted for me? or too introverted for me? what should i say to him? where should i bring him? what food does he like?
Oh and the ceremony where we met each other and exchanged gifts was damn nerve-wrecking... its like they call "no. 20 永春高中的甘家豪" and "华侨初级学院的罗凯恒".. and we went on stage to shake hands, hug and exchange presents (in that order), before going down to talk and have tea reception. Oh and the thing was, before the ceremony, the taiwanese were seated at one end of the audi and the Singaporeans were seated at the other end. then someone found out that it was arranged accordingly. ie. if i sit on the 1st row 3rd seat, my buddy would sit on the 1st row 3rd seat on his side as well. So we were all eagerly scanning the audi trying to see who our buddies would be. WHAT: CLASS OUTING NEXT TUESDAY (4 JULY)
WHERE: EAST COAST PARK
WHEN: 2.30pm onwards
DO WHAT: Bowl/snooker/pool, cycle, eat (in that order)
Meet at Macs (at Marine Cove) at 2.30pm. For those who dunno how to go there, or want to meet up first...i will be at Payar Lebar MRT control station at 2pm (we'll take 76, 135, 853, or 197).

????why we need superman????
heeey.. main purpose of my post is to refute everyth tat cm says. wahahah..
firstly! YAY!! blocks are OVER!! jane survived! *3 cheers* everyone survived! *3X21 cheers*
obviously blocks hav screwed my mind up irreversibly. so abit mad n hyper now. *delayed reaction*
mrs foo din catch me with my earring! whee.. nevertheless, i shall be guai n remove it by.. nxt nxt wk. cuz nxt wk im not coming to sch!! yay. everyone shud miss me! ^^
shall defend the poor soul. "ppl" din buy their food late. sniff. it was slow in coming. and everyone was evilly tryin to make "ppl" swallow hot n spicy food fast. which is extremely.. cruel! made "ppl" shed tears *sniff* poor thing. hmph. *predicts a sore throat* u all shud go reflect and repent..
after movie we walked ard in circles (big ones) ard orchard. quite stupid. we had no plans so walked extra extra distances. kept bumping into random ppl. unexpected! at the end of the day, everyone went broke. o.O y we exchanged money for paper we duno. x.X n i happen to lose ALL the receipts im supposed to claim money fr class fund. argh.. btw, "they" who erased stuff and wrote again did the perfect thing! or else.. ahem. it'd be.. quite disastrous. hurray for the "they"! ^^ and highly efficient someone managed to scan + send neops to everyone as soon as she got hm. so hurray for her too! ^^
and latest announcement : may be an outing on monday! location, time, activity unconfirmed. ^^ cya'll!

WHY WE NEED SUPERMAN
Hello everyone:) It's been soo long since i last posted haha..so i shall now do my part to revive the class blog (unlike jane..who is being very very lazy). Firstly today is a gd day cos blocks are over (for our class at least). haha yep its quite an important event so i must say again. TODAY IS A GD DAY COS BLOCKS ARE OVER (FOR OUR CLASS AT LEAST). hurray!:D
Anyway in the morning it was so fun studying bio..haha cos half the time i was playing..oops. And i think kat was going a bit mad too;) haha ok i resolve to study quietly and not disturb others so much next time. Oh then halfway through doing bio paper, mrs foo tapped me on my shoulder and kindly reminded me that next week onwards she'd better see NO MORE THAN ONE EARSTUD PER EAR. whoa so scary, she made me lose my train of thought for a few secs haha. Anyway that was quite random.
Oh AFTER bio half the class went for lunch and movie. Tsk ppl who cannot eat fast shouldnt buy their food so late=D Oh and I successfully safeguarded the 11 tickets..unlike soon huat who was quite incompetent=p haha ok i think this is a gd achievement. Yup so then we went to watch SUPERMAN RETURNS! Superman is so shuai la haha.. so now I finally think Wailumn has good taste. The movie's nice la, even with Nik the skeptic giving a running commentary throughout the whole show hahaha. Hmm did I mention that Superman is shuai. haha. Oh and the little boy's so cute, but of course the person beside me was being skeptical as usual and trying to ruin my impression of him. but happily i was not swayed=D
Later the guys went home and the girls went SHOPPING=D omgosh so fun even though we didn't get much. But we got someone's nice present!:) Oh and wailumn wanted to take neoprints so we went to go and take neoprints. and during the deco part not only did everyone keep putting funny things like popcorn and little animals around my face, they erased all the stuff i wrote on the neos. which personally i think was quite nice haha. then they went to rewrite the exact same thing NICELY, according to them. like there's a difference..haha..
Yup so today was a FUN DAY and everyone should go watch SUPERMAN!!=D
