7D REUNION LUNCH

Haha since I'm the one who brought the camera I shall blog about the class outing as well!

It was great catching up with everyone; with the guys, we blabbered endlessly about SOC, IPPT, army songs, field camp and which company is the most slack. Haha I'm sure the girls are getting tired of hearing about NS already. Forgive us - our lives are like CONSUMED by national service at this point in time and frankly/sadly, we have very little other stuff to talk about.

Anyway for the benefit of those who didn't go, we had lunch at Fish n Co where we just simply talked and talked and talked. And then we walked to cine, checked out the disgustingly exorbitant pool prices, and decided to adjourn to this crepes place at the basement for more food, and yes, you guessed it, more talk.

Talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk. (ok seriously there isn't much to blog about for this class outing. 2 words kinda sum it up: eat and talk)

Following which we went up to level 1 and tried to decide where to go next. After more catching up with each other and a typical-7D discussion which produced no real results, many of us left because we had other stuff on. Nik, Jane, Jinrong and I went to Nik's house for some mahjong and more talk. Haha. =)

It was great catching up with everyone. And just as JR was remarking, our class guys are pretty lucky because none of us got into the notoriously shiong companies. It seems that everyone is coping well, be it with work or NS. Like any other bookout, this one has passed especially quickly. So to the guys, time to get back to our chiong sua life. And to the girls, hope you ppl enjoy the rest of your working stint and get into great universities. Till we next meet =)

hello! the class blog's gonna be rather quiet i think. what with 11 guys in ns and most girls working/intern-ing or somewhere or the other. anyway! few of us decided that we were free enough to visit juniors and grandjuniors for campfire!! =D was quite fun la. haha. been a long time since we shouted so much. a feel-good thing =D hope jaime doesn't re-lose her voice!! drink waterrrr..

this is when the very cool fireball (literally!!! a ball of fire!!! -amazed-) flew down from music room by a string (which sadly, did not light up too. but why!) and vroooom into a stack of wood. woo~~~ very song4 to watch!












then the fire was used to light the uhh.. another fireball? hahaha. i was wondering how it'd light up after being drenched with heavy rain! but lo and behold. it did!! again, not very clear but wow look at the number of people. haha. looks like some concert with alot of people holding up cams and -refers to pic- oops you can't really see but i could but hahaha. nm. nice!!

and then there's song and dance and that's about it =D hopefully more people would be able to turn up for cny and maf and what not. like must 饮水思源! -looks pointedly at pic below-nods-












good luck to everyone waiting in anticipation and various degrees of trepidation for whatever results (universities, scholarships, As? lol, interviews, jobs, internships)! and happy starting work (to wailumn! and me) next monday. and happy working to everyone else (uhh even those with very slacky jobs -stares at certain someone haha-)!

FAIRY POINT CHALET 2
The double-storey chalet is fully furbished with living room set with TV and games table; dining room set; 4 bedrooms (air-conditioned) and furbished with beds (1 queen-sized and 9 single-sized), wardrobe, dresser, bedside table and wall fan; 5 toilets /bath (4 attached) with shower heater; BBQ pit and a fully equipped kitchen.

BBQ dinner on 2 Jan has been booked.

All able bodied men (PES A, B, C, D, E :P) please carry 3 1.5 litre drinks to the chalet. Choice of drink is up to your discretion. Alvin will carry double the load as national service :)

What do you all want to do on 3rd and 4th? Go to beach, night cycle... must plan. So respond, thank you.

Right, I got the first post on 25th December mwahaha. Ok not like we have a lot of posts everyday and it's a great deal to get the first post of a day. But welll....don't demean my achievement haha ^^

uhm okay, i think some people have the impression they can come early to my house! not that you can't but u'm going to take hours to get ready and i can't entertain you and i don't want my mum to go crazy with guests (cause she'll keep going down and offering food and drinks) so don't come so early okay? haha. will give exact timing soon but anyway so far the people replied are:

Hey hey! My parents say that you guys can come over after prom... Breakfast the next day provided (i think) =x but there's a catch >.<. Think nik says people who want to shower after prom can go over to his house for a cold shower... Sorry.. but it is weird to have a whole bunch of people bathing over at my house and i think my parents are really nice and understanding to have a bunch of people they've never met before over. So sms me if you're coming or comment or something! Just let me know!
So on that day itself you guys can come over to dump your stuff.. The guys can come over and change i guess if they want (like chern wei) but as i said no shower =x The girls are probably going to have to do their hair and stuff so i think the girls will rather come in their dresses and stuff... (can dump your stuff to the guys to dump at my house)

NOPE. Its just the beginning =) Our class is barely 2 years old and I'm sure we'll have LOTS to reminisce about next time when we have a class gathering. I wonder how everyone will look like in future and how we'll all have changed?

Its the beginning of the start of a long road in life... where we all have to carve out our own paths. No more doing stuff just to play safe and give yourself more options, now its about what you really WANT in life. For most of the guys, NS, then university. For the girls, enjoy your 8-mth break before university starts. And who knows what might come in the future? So many more experiences waiting for us to discover and immerse ourselves in...

This is where we all go our separate roads (ok actually not yet. theres still prom and class chalet and probably a few more class outings right?). But I'm sure we'll always be proud to have been part of 06s7D! =)
