HMPH
I hate lim chern wei btw. congrats to all the guys who got where they wanted to, be it command school or another unit :) happy confinement!
i miss going out with 06s7d a lot. i just really wanna thank everybody for everything. Seriously, i feel very blessed to be in this class. everyone is kinda peaceful (haha @ chia ming) and there arent any big fallouts or bitchiness or what not, for which i am really grateful. seriously, for a class where pple are so smart/accomplished in their own ways, you'd expect a lot of big egos pushing around and hence a lot of fights/skirmishes/coldwars/backstabbing/competition. but no, it didn't happen, which i think is absolutely pretty amazing!
im not saying we're a perfect class, because occasionally we do have our own set of problems (like perma zibei on the side of some of us) but still, we're the best that we can be. i'd like everybody to know how much i appreciate them, that it is so rare, for something like this to fall nicely into place, for us to sort of unanimously agree that 06S7D is a class to cherish. i don't know how often that has happened in your life: that you have such a large group of pple, not chosen by your hand, that can, by chance (sort of?), end up in such a fantabulous situation.
if it has been often, then you're really lucky. if it hasn't, then i think you know what i'm talking about.
much love, 06S7D. i hope we keep in contact, since two short years have flown by in the blink of an eye. an overused cliche, but it sure feels like it. all right then, true to the spirit of STP, two short years have flown by in the span of time taken to replicate an E.coli genome! i don't care what other idiots say and badmouth abt STP, as far as im concerned, we're the best bloody class there is.
it'd be a pity if we don't see each other again. if we don't, remember what once was. if we do, then let's make new memories :)
lots of love!
wailumn

this is wailumn trying to whisper to the statue. but e statue is kinda expressionless n just stunned. i _stand how he feels. tis was how i felt too when in orientation, the first time i met wailumn in e hall, wailumn jus ask "u o6s7d too?", "where r u from", "how r u", "wah it is great to b classmates as u", "wats ur name. oh my name is wailumn n i am from dunman high." i was stunned hahahahahah.

7D REUNION LUNCH
It was great catching up with everyone; with the guys, we blabbered endlessly about SOC, IPPT, army songs, field camp and which company is the most slack. Haha I'm sure the girls are getting tired of hearing about NS already. Forgive us - our lives are like CONSUMED by national service at this point in time and frankly/sadly, we have very little other stuff to talk about.

Anyway for the benefit of those who didn't go, we had lunch at Fish n Co where we just simply talked and talked and talked. And then we walked to cine, checked out the disgustingly exorbitant pool prices, and decided to adjourn to this crepes place at the basement for more food, and yes, you guessed it, more talk.
Talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk. (ok seriously there isn't much to blog about for this class outing. 2 words kinda sum it up: eat and talk)
Following which we went up to level 1 and tried to decide where to go next. After more catching up with each other and a typical-7D discussion which produced no real results, many of us left because we had other stuff on. Nik, Jane, Jinrong and I went to Nik's house for some mahjong and more talk. Haha. =)
It was great catching up with everyone. And just as JR was remarking, our class guys are pretty lucky because none of us got into the notoriously shiong companies. It seems that everyone is coping well, be it with work or NS. Like any other bookout, this one has passed especially quickly. So to the guys, time to get back to our chiong sua life. And to the girls, hope you ppl enjoy the rest of your working stint and get into great universities. Till we next meet =)

快 乐 年!
this from a chain sms I received. Wishing everyone a fulfilling year ahead! And it's not only about fa cai or hao yun. It's about going about our own daily lives, forging avenues for ourselves, and at the same time, not forgetting the people around us.
The next time you are free, go look through the archives of this blog. And though I have not been one of the more avid contributers to this blog, it's the memories that amaze me. Go read them! ^^
One for the class blog.
I promise a new blog skin within the next two weeks (aka by 23 feb, or by 2 bookouts). This skin is getting boring.
